The world of DIY dollhouse kits is vast and ever-expanding, offering endless inspiration for builders. Today, we’ll shift our focus to a specific style: farmhouse dollhouse kits.
They are usually larger than other kits like the ones from Robotime, so there is a lot more and longer fun to be had with them before they are finished.
These usually don’t have dollhouse furniture included, so you can decorate the interior to your own preferences.

Farmhouse Dollhouse kits: reviews.
Before purchasing a more expensive dollhouse kit, I would definitely check out people’s reviews first, so here we go with more in-depth reviews and information on each kit, with its pros and cons.
These reviews are a combination of my own experiences and other people’s opinions on several platforms, like Facebook groups.
1. Victoria farmhouse dollhouse kit
This dollhouse kit is definitely one of my personal favorites, as its style resembles most of what I consider to be a “farmhouse”.
It looks straightforward, without too many “this and thats” or fragile ornaments. You can just imàgine the animals wondering around this farmhouse 😉
When finished, this dollhouse has side-opening access, movable room dividers, raised panel shutters, and door and stairs.

3. Greenleaf Fairfield Dollhouse Kit
I love Greenleaf! I had one years ago, but sold it because of lack of room back then, but I wish I hadn’t now 🙁
Anyway, the Greenleaf Fairfield kit looks amazing and elegant.
You might not think that this looks like a “farmhouse”, and I could agree on the one hand, but on the other hand when googling “farmhouse dollhouse”, this kit always does show up.
What’s your opinion when you see the picture below?

Brand | Greenleaf |
Scale | 1: 24 scale, so smaller than the first 2 kits – has a total of 6 rooms and 2 large hallways |
Pro’s | – Has 2 build-in fireplaces – solid plywood is used – shingles are included in the kit – beautiful design |
Contra’s | as it seems that you need to sand a lot of pieces Before assembling this kit, I would assume that it takes about 35 hours minimum to make. |
Our Ratings | 4/5 |

4. Greenleaf Glencroft Dollhouse Kit
In my opinion, the design of this farmhouse dollhouse is amazing.
Although you need to paint and decorate it yourself to make it look like in the picture below, the basic is very original. It has some issues though, as you can see further on.
By the way, this looks like it is in Tudor style!

Brand | Greenleaf |
Scale | 1: 25 – 25″ W x 18″ D x 24″ H |
Pro’s | |
Contra’s | – unfinished wood, you need to create and buy all decoration yourself, shingles as well – too small to play with for kids – several pieces are extremely difficult to punch out |

Hi everyone!
My name is Lizzy, and I am an amateur miniaturist obsessed with everything in the dollhouse and miniature world, ever since I was a teenager.
So far, I have created 2 dollhouse projects, a backyard shed and a miniature treehouse, tons of DIY dollhouse kits, and “hacked” some.
I also created a fairy garden, and lots of small and simple miniature projects on my YouTube channel. (mostly made from trash or everyday items).
I love to write as well about all things happening in the miniature world, hence the reason why I created this blog!
I wish you happy reading and crafting!
Lizzy

Dollhouses are a cute craft that takes patients and dedication to complete even with proper instructions. I am looking for a new farmhouse style doll house and that is how came upon for list of 7. This list gives me a few choices to start with, but the thing about it is I love them all. Think am going to start with the Victoria style, as this style fits a lot of exterior homes in our area.
Hi Jannette!
I think that you made a good choice to go for the Victoria style, I find it elegant as well and beautiful!
Good luck with the crafting progress!

Blimey, have you seen this article over at EverythingVerySmall about 7 amazing farmhouse dollhouse kits? It’s got me all excited about miniaturization, I tell ya!
First off, let me ask – have you ever built a dollhouse before? I mean, I’ve always been a bit of a DIY guy, but dollhouses were never really on my radar. But now, I’m starting to see the appeal. I mean, just look at these farmhouse kits – they’re adorable!
Now, I’ve got to say, I’m a bit of a traditionalist. I like my dollhouses to look like…well, like dollhouses. But these farmhouses, they’re something else altogether. They’re so charming and quirky, I could just gobble them up.
But here’s what I’m wondering – are these kits actually any good? I mean, I don’t want to spend my hard-earned cash on a kit that’s gonna give me nothing but headaches.
So far, I haven’t built any of these farmhouse dollhouses myself, but I’m definitely considering it. I mean, who wouldn’t want a mini farmhouse in their living room, right?
Hi Bob!
Glad to see someone as enthusiastic as yourself looking at my blog haha!
