I have had this question a few times before now, in comments on my website or on my social media pages: “Lizzy, where do I find DIY dollhouse furniture kits to build, more specifically on a scale of 1:24”?
So I decided to do some more research on the topic because finding dollhouse furniture on a specific scale, is not so simple apparently 😉
Today, I will try to do as much research as possible on the topic and I hope this will help you out!
By the way, if you are not sure how to convert from one scale to another, feel free to check out my free tool: a scale converter!

Part 1: DIY Dollhouse Furniture Kits To Build On Scale 1:24
While the DIY miniature kits from Robotime or Cutebee, amongst others, contain also miniature furniture kits, and you could use these separately to build your own dollhouse or room box, sometimes you just want the furniture only, right?
At least, this is how I understand the questions that people asked me on “where to find miniature kits on a scale of 1:24, aka half scale?
I did find a lot of DIY dollhouse furniture kits on several platforms, so let’s dive straight into some reviews!
1. ZZMiniworld
This USA seller is selling all kinds of miniature supplies, but we are interested in the DIY dollhouse furniture, as seen in the picture below.
This wooden furniture set is in scale 1:24 and contains in total of 29 pieces. These are unpainted.

The price :
There are 4 boxes of 4 different DIY sets and the price is $45,95.

The Good.
- These sets don’t need to be assembled, you can just paint them in any way that you like or in any color
- This is a star seller, which means that its products and service receive mostly five-star reviews
- Very good quality and sturdy miniature furniture
- Fast shipping
The Bad.
- returns and exchanges not accepted
Final Conclusion.
I would definitely buy these furniture sets from this store. In fact, I think that I will at a certain time in the future, as an addition to my DIY miniature kits.
2. Architectural Blocks
This cute little store is designing small dollhouse building kits and DIY miniature furniture kits, but also parts.
Below, you can see a few examples of these kits. While I’m not 100% sure, I would presume that they are made by laser cutting machines and the wood used is plywood.
There are furniture sets of 34 pieces, 26 pieces, and 19 pieces.
More details are below in the pros and cons review. Oh yes; these are on a scale of 1:24 as well.

- These furniture sets are from a star seller with an average review of 4,8 or higher
- the sets are carefully cut to size to assemble precisely to the mm
- Very easy to assemble, without even needing glue, but using a light hammer is advised though. The elements just fit together with press-in joints
- Eco-friendly materials are used: the wood itself, and the packaging is from recycled paper and cardboard
The Bad.
- shipping might take a while if living in the US (maybe you should check with the seller first)
Final Conclusion.
I always love laser-cut dollhouse kits, so yes I would buy from this store for sure!
3. Greenleaf Dollhouses
I have written a blog post on the dollhouses from Greenleaf before, but I don’t think that I mentioned the miniature furniture on a scale of 1:24, so this is an extra addition.
The Greenleaf furniture kits are laser cut as well and they require minimal sanding and assembly in a fraction of the time compared to their traditional furniture kits.
They need to be painted and decorations are not included. There are 6 different themes of the kits:
- a library set
- a living room set
- a dining room set
- a bathroom set
- a kitchen set
- and a bedroom set

The Bad.
- beware that when ordering miniature shingles from this store, they are actually not real mini shingles, but just scored sheets
- sometimes the kits from Greenleaf don’t have tabs and slots that seem to fit right
Final Conclusion.
Although I have some hesitations about the sturdiness of the kits, for that price I would like to give these a try.
4. Mistique Minis
This is a very tiny store from Australia, but I did want to mention it, because it has some peculiar minis.
The three mini furniture kits have a Gothic/Witches/Halloween theme, as you can see in the pictures below.
It has a whiches chair kit, a tarot cards table, and a Gothic miniature sofa, all on a scale of 1:24.
They are all of her original designs and laser cut, using MDF and plywood.

My conclusion is that I would definitely buy from this seller, such amazing and fine little pieces and I like a challenge!
5. Mozly’s 3D Puzzles
This store is quite different than the others. What I mean by that is these mini furniture kits are made like 3D puzzles.
These mini 3D puzzles should however still be on a scale of 1:24, rest assured.
Mozly’s store doesn’t just sell 3D puzzles for DIY dollhouse furniture, but also lots of dollhouses and things like boats and historical buildings.
Take a look at the store below to see what I mean, they are quite fun, especially for kids as well.
The construction kits are made from wood and come with plenty of interlocking puzzle pieces, an instruction manual, and one piece of sanding paper.

Final Conclusion.
These furniture kits are so very affordable, that I wouldn’t even worry too much if they were low quality, I’m sure I could work around that! So yes, I would purchase from this store!
That’s it for now regarding the 1:24 scale kits, let’s add a few in other scales.
Part 2: DIY Dollhouse Furniture Kits To Build On Scale 1:12
While I already have written some blog posts on DIY dollhouse furniture on a scale of 1:12 before (so you can definitely explore my website for more),
So I decided to focus on some more of these fantastic and easy creations that you or even your kids could make.
1. The Modern Dollhouse
This somewhat larger store from TN sells all kinds of modern dollhouse furniture & accessories on a scale of 1 12.
But regards the DIY dollhouse furniture kits, it also has a lot of things to choose from: 39 pieces of unfinished furniture and 2 furniture kits.
Like the table below, this one you would need to assemble:
But in the pictures below, however, you can notice that these pieces are already assembled, just not painted yet.

Related article: How to make furniture for a dollhouse?
Hi everyone!
My name is Lizzy, and I am an amateur miniaturist obsessed with everything in the dollhouse and miniature world, ever since I was a teenager.
So far, I have created 2 dollhouse projects, a backyard shed and a miniature treehouse, tons of DIY dollhouse kits, and “hacked” some.
I also created a fairy garden, and lots of small and simple miniature projects on my YouTube channel. (mostly made from trash or everyday items).
I love to write as well about all things happening in the miniature world, hence the reason why I created this blog!
I wish you happy reading and crafting!

These pieces are so cute but I especially like the Modern dollhouse furniture. I love that you can assemble these and decorate them as you like. Some do look tricky however but they are any crafters dream project. Would also love to try the 3 D puzzle you feature here of the fantasy house. I wonder how many pieces there are?
Hi Michel!
They are quite amazing, I know right?
That is a very good question on the fantasy house! It seems that it contains 238 pieces haha!
I wish you happy “puzzling" 😉
Kind regards,
Lizzy
Finding dollhouse furniture in different scale sizes, is awesome. My granddaughter has a dollhouse and we were looking for furniture that I can build with her, and was struggling to find the right size, These pieces look so cute, although some seems to be quite tricky to build.
I am very interested in the HHC Dolls, but do you have a recommendation as to which is the best shipping option for Australia? Thank you.
Hello again Line!
Thank you for your positive comment and I hope that you can find what you are looking for for your granddaughter 🙂
That is a very good question on the shipping from Australia, but I sadly do not have an answer to that. Could you check with the seller please? I’m so sorry..
Kind regards,
Lizzy
