Beware of buying a used one, lot's of people are having issues with these.
If you just need to craft simple things and you don't want updates, this seems like a good machine. Just know that the software is discontinued and thus it will be hard to get help from Cricut!

The Cricut joy machine is also a good choice because it's very compact and needs less space than others. It does not require a cutting mat that can cut up to 4 feet and repeated cuts up to 20 feet. The Cricut joy seems like a great choice if you have a tight budget and need a small Cricut machine.

I love to do crafty things, especially with papers and fabrics so this would be perfect. I like the Cricut Maker 3 because I'd want the ability to do everything. It is a bit pricey for my budget right now, but I definitely would love to have this machine.
