You might "know me by now" when I say that I am a bit crazy about creating miniature crafts from scratch with the help of recycled materials, everyday items, or things that others would throw in the trashcan 🙂

Today, we are going to expand this even more, so let's just dive straight into things with my latest tutorials!

Expanding my miniature treehouse

While I write new blog posts, I would like to remind you of the progress of my miniature treehouse, if you want 😉

Because in the meantime, I have added a little mini kitchen, made from:

  • balsawood
  • covered with leftover cork
  • the "sink" is a piece of plastic that I kept for years, I don't even remember where I got it from sorry haha!
  • the edges on the cork are made from willow twigs and fake moss
  • very small acorn caps and acorns form theapots and taps
  • the sink has fake water liquid added
  • the little pot with a lid was a plastic round piece, covered with a button that has a bead glued on

How to create a miniature outdoor bench from skewer sticks

As part of a barbeque diorama, I have created this small miniature outdoor bench.

It is made from skewer sticks and air-drying polymer clay.

You also need acrylic paint, UHU glue, and the usual crafting materials!

As always on my Youtube channel, you just need to follow the instructions in the video 😉

How to create a miniature barbeque from bottle caps?

The next tutorial belongs to the same diorama setting as the one above, it is a mini outdoor barbeque setup.

What you need for this are:

  • plastic bottle caps
  • metal pins and a lighter
  • scissors
  • skewer sticks
  • a glue gun and UHU glue
  • a box cutter
  • black acrylic paint and a paintbrush
  • electric wires

How to create tiny miniature flower baskets from bottle caps and origami?

I'm crazy about these miniature baskets, in all kinds of ways (there's one more down below for Easter).

For these, you need:

  • bottle caps (yay, again)
  • origami paper (crêpe paper might even be better/easier)
  • crafting glue or a glue gun (the choice is up to you!)

A quick and easy project! Again, click on the picture below to take you to the actual video!

How to create a miniature sofa from cardboard from scratch?

What can I say, creating dollhouses and miniatures from cardboard is definitely among my favorite things to do!

In the next tutorial, I have created a mini upholstered sofa from cardboard, yes indeed, cardboard!

Besides cardboard, you need a metal ruler, scissors, an all-purpose glue like UHU, craft paper, tissue or even toilet paper, and fabrics of your choice, and you're ready to create! You can also add some lace or a ribbon.
