Great review of the Robotime Miniature Dollhouse Kit! Some of these dollhouses that you build look very intricate and detailed and I was wondering, do you know anything about architectural models? My parents want me to model out some modern designs for one of our current houses and I think it would be really fun to build a miniature model by hand. Thanks!
Hello Kevin,
That is a really difficult question, but thanks for asking π I think that is something specific that only architects should be able to do. Also I believe that in these days architecturals models are all done bye computers. Maybe you could ask an architect ? Thank you for your comment !
Kind regards,
Lizzy
Despite not owning a doll house, I am a fan of it simply because they are so cute and lovely to look at.
When assembling a doll house, I feel that one needs to have patience when putting the small pieces of material together. This is one activity to unleash anyone's creativity especially when he or she need a time to release some stress.
However, the end product after hard work of assembly is always a lovely piece of artwork to admire.
Thank you for such a wonderful article!
This article shows how you can come up with a very nice hobby, would be good for schools as a project as well. I had no clue that this type of crafts even existed. I think some people who like to put on miniature railway lines could love this as well as it looks really nice. Especially in times like these where a lot of people have to stay home with their kids, it is a fun way to pass time.
Hi Lizzy, This Miniature dollhouse looks adorable. Although I enjoy fixing things up, I have not tried Miniature products. This look fun and I wish to give it a try,
I enjoy DIY portion to build this however it looks like it has many parts to assemble. How long will it take to complete.
Thank you. Marc
Hello Marc !
Yes it is much fun to assemble these ! It will take me about 24 hours to put it all together.
Kind regards,
Lizzy
Creating a robotic miniature Dollhouse is amazing fun and educational creativity. I am also interested to this. Every one specially children like this type of creativity and like to create, watch and play with this. This type of creativity in children is to develop their mental strength and ability to improve cognitive skill development.

Hello! Many thanks to you for giving us such a beautiful article about Robotime Miniature Dollhouse Kit- An Expanded Review Of Cathy’s Flower House. I'm very impressed by reading your article. All I can say is this RoboTime Miniature Dollhouse Kit is not just for kids, even for adults like me or, they have other things we can make and not just for doll house, like if you are a boy and you want to build a small hotel. And it's a very important idea for a children's school project. The house is very beautiful surrounded by flowers and I will give my baby a birthday present. I can say without a doubt that your article is educational. I will share your article with my friends. Best of luck.
This definitely looks like a project for an older (patient) teen or adult, but I think it could be quite addictive. I love building puzzles and this looks like such fun to do.
Did you say you need a craft saw for the job? I wasn't sure if you said you need one or that everything was cut already? I think I am going to try one. The only worry afterward is having the space to store the finished project.
Thank you for sharing this educational article about Everything you need to know about dollhouse and miniatures. I enjoyed reading your article and the lessons you provided. You have explained this very well in your article of how to construct the doll houses even a person like me who does not know anything about arts and crafts l would definitely enjoy building the dollhouse. This article will be great for school children they can learn as a subject at school. I have bookmarked your article l will send it to my friends who are teachers at primary schools they might get brilliant ideas after reading this. Great post.
Wishing you all the success!
Hi Michel !
They sure are suitable to do at any age, just not for children under 14. Unless accompanied by an adult ;-). You don't need a craft table saw for this kit, you would only need it if you were to craft miniatures or dollhouses yourself.
These are already cut and painted. You just need to glue them together. Oh right, you do need to small scissors though to cut the 'leaves ' off the plants and such.
If you ever do buy one, enjoy it!
Very cute. I have often toyed with the idea of building miniature dolls houses but I have to stop myself from starting yet another project that I would not finish. A couple of years ago I built a dolls house for our daughters Barbie dolls. I hunted around for kits but the closest I could find was 1:12 scale but of course Barbie dolls are 1:6 scale. So I built it myself from scratch. Her room is quite large so I didn't have to skimp on the size and I used 3/4" plywood for the floors and walls. When I put it all together I found I had built a monster that takes two people to lift. I should have realized as I was barely able to lift the wood off the roof of the car when I brought all the materials home. So if asked I would advise anyone to use 1/2" plywood for a 1:6 Barbie doll scaled dolls house. Long story. Anyway, our daughter loves it and often plays with it. It seems to me that 1:24 is more a sort of decorative scale than something that a child would want to play with. But I could be wrong. Also I guess if your living space is tight then smaller models would be the way to go. Thanks again.
Hi Andy !
I can just imagine how heavy the dollhouse was for your daughter, it makes me laugh just thinking about that haha ! Thank you for sharing your story and how nice of you to build one for your child ! And yes, these are more meant to be decorative for adults π
