Mornin' I'm Murph (real name Roy) I'm a retired Paramedic and live in a little town called Cobh (pronounced Cove) on the south coast of Ireland, I live with she that shall be obeyed right on the seafront overlooking the entrance to Cork harbour, huge Ships and cruise liners pass by our front window every day.
I started off with 1/48 buildings like Rolfe, Cutebee Etc, then after a major blunder I orders a load of extras only to find on delivery they were 1/12 scale !! 😱 So instead of returning them I decided to do a 1/12 scale shop, a large corner store like Arkwright's on the TV series Open All Hours, I ordered two of these <a title="Shop" href=" removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener"> removed link <a href=" removed link ">T'm planning to put the 2 fronts at right angles then finish it into an L shape, I'm planning to put a Butchers department in the other one along with a small Bakery they should be arriving soon. Looking forward to meeting everybody, Sláinte Murph
Hi Murph!
Unfortunately, my forum removes links from shops etc, automatically from the forum. But thanks for introducing yourself and it must be beautiful out there in Ireland!
About the kits from Cutebee and Rolife that you ordered, they are all on a scale of 1:24, (or about), as far as I know? I have done quit some myself, and I have never seen any on a scale of 1:12, it would be nice for my to find some hahaha!
Can you maybe place a picture of the new ones that you ordered, so I can check out what you mean, that would be helpfull thanks!
(or, you could right-click on the pictures from that store, and then copy-paste the "image URL link" into the forum, so the pictures should also show up)
Happy crafting!
