Where to find nice miniature glassware?

So, the other day, we asked the question in our community: "What are the hardest things to find in the miniature world?"

Besides the answer "money for the hobby" 🤣 🤣 , someone told us that nice miniature glassware is hard to find, and I tend to agree!

 

Whether you need tiny wine glasses, delicate vases, or a gorgeous chandelier, finding clear and pretty glass pieces can be a bit of a challenge..

 

One of these days, as ever when I'm thinking about an idea for years lol, I will take apart 2 DIY kits (Homey Kitchen and Candy Store ), and assemble and 'bash' them into one room box, creating a bar.

So in the meantime, I am already gathering glassware, and this question was right on time to do some research on!

 

I found some places where you can get your hands on some great miniature glassware!

 

1. Etsy – ThaiMiniatureHouse

   
   This shop came highly recommended by my Facebook group!

   ThaiMiniatureHouse is an Etsy store based in Thailand, and they make some amazing handmade miniatures, including glass chandeliers and decorative pieces. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and everything has a delicate, realistic look. Definitely worth checking out if you’re after clear, well-made glass items for your dollhouse.

   

   

   

2. Reutter Porzellan

   
   If you’re into elegant, high-quality stuff, Reutter Porzellan is a brand you’ll want to know about. They’re known for their fine miniature glass and porcelain pieces, and you can find everything from tiny wine glasses to cute vases. They’re available in many dollhouse shops and online.
   If you would order straight from their store online and live in the US, beware of customs though.

3. The Dolls House Emporium

   
   The Dolls House Emporium is another great option for miniature glassware. They’ve got everything from little wine glasses and jugs to decorative vases. Plus, they ship worldwide, so no matter where you are, you can get your hands on their glass pieces.

4. Miniatures.com

   
   Miniatures.com has a nice variety of glass items for different rooms in your dollhouse. Whether you need something for the kitchen, dining room, or just some cool decorative pieces, they’ve got options for all budgets. And when I ask people in my community where they buy their miniatures, this store comes up a lot as well.

5. eBay

   
   If you love hunting for unique finds, eBay can be a treasure trove for miniature glassware. From vintage to handmade, there’s a lot to explore. Just be sure to double-check the scale so everything fits your dollhouse! Also, check out a seller's reviews before purchasing anything on eBay.

6. Local Dollhouse Stores

   
   Don’t forget to check out local dollhouses or miniatures shops if you have any nearby. They often carry some really cool, unique glassware that you won’t find online. Plus, it’s a great way to support small businesses!

 

Although Temu seems to be a popular store online in general to buy miniatures, in this case, I wouldn't buy from them. But that's just my opinion!
