Have you had a chance to cut any of the files yet with a Cricut or laser? I’m curious what material you’re using—3mm plywood or something thinner? There’s such a variety out there, and getting that perfect fit can be a bit of trial and error!
Great question! I’ve tested a few of the files using both my Cricut and a laser cutter, and you're absolutely right: getting that perfect fit does take a bit of experimenting!
For the laser cutter, I usually go with 2.5mm or 3mm birch plywood. Some files are designed with 3mm in mind, but depending on your machine’s kerf (the amount the laser removes), you might need to tweak things slightly. For Cricut projects, I tend to use thinner materials like 1.5mm basswood or even thick cardstock, depending on the design.
