Hi everyone!
My name is Lizzy, and I am an amateur miniaturist obsessed with everything in the dollhouse and miniature world, ever since I was a teenager.
So far, I have created 2 dollhouse projects, a backyard shed and a miniature treehouse, tons of DIY dollhouse kits, and “hacked” some.
I also created a fairy garden, and lots of small and simple miniature projects on my YouTube channel. (mostly made from trash or everyday items).
I love to write as well about all things happening in the miniature world, hence the reason why I created this blog!
I wish you happy reading and crafting!
Lizzy
These dollhouses are so cute! And beautiful! They’ll make a wonderful decorative piece in the house. Some of the items are so detailed, the Victorian picture frames, chairs, beds, and mirrors, incredible how they made them! I usually order from Ebay or Amazon, I haven’t tried Etsy yet, but I hear that it’s a good site. I should try it out. Judging by the sellers’ scores, they all seem to have good delivery times, except for the one with 4.5 stars, but 4.5 is still great.
hey Christine
Thank you for your positive comment. I sure do love Etsy and I would really advise giving it a try for your needs! There’s lots of hand crafted fantastic items on there, not just miniatures;-)
Enjoy!
Kind regards,
Lizzy
This is the first time I have seen miniature dolls to go in the dollhouses! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy! The detail in the picture sold by FancyandChic is amazing, which is also something I have not seen before. All of the shops look amazing but, unfortunately, I would skip MelodyJaneDollHouse (because of the overseas shipping issues that are happening right now) and Victoriaminiland (because they don’t allow returns). Overall, though, this is a great selection of stores! Thank you for posting!
Hi Cynthia,
Yes, sadly for the UK, sending things abroad now is getting more difficult and expensive. But on the other hand, for people living in the UK itself, that is not an issue.
True also about Victoriaminiland, no returns accepted can be risky!
thank you for your comment and I am always trying to help to put the pros and con’s against each other to get the best choice!
Kind regards,
Lizzy
Lizzy, the artistry of these sellers is incredible, anyone who is passionate about dollhouses in these shops that you have reviewed can find absolute wonders!
I’ve never bought on Etsy, but reading your article now I’m definitely going for a ride!
I fell in love with some Victorian-style miniatures! Which do you think is the shop that you liked the most?
Hello Miriam!
I am doubting between number 1 and number 3: le miniaturediBea . They both look gorgeous, but number 3 has some more choices in different scales. And I sometimes make miniatures on a scale of 1:24, so that will be handy 😉
Happy collecting!
Best regards,
Lizzy
