So you have decided to want a fairy garden, but you have no time to make one yourself (my personal work ), or you would just like to put one up in an easier way? Then you could go and have a look at fairy garden kits on Etsy.

As a matter of fact, although I prefer to make things myself, I am actually going to buy a pretty fairy garden house (as a kit) myself soon, it is such a cute house and I can still paint it or decorate it the way I like it!

Today I am going to review six fairy garden kits for you from different companies, so let’s go:

Shop number 1: EnchantedHuts

The good:

– I always love when a dollhouse, miniature or fairy garden is made from natural materials, it looks a lot less ‘artificial’. But that’s just my opinion 😉

– You can create a basic, beautiful fairy garden with these materials all together, it is a nice start

– fast shipping

The bad:

– the price looks a bit high?

– indoors only it seems, but I think that when you seal it with something like Mod Podge, you can keep lots of things outside, but still take some things inside during cold or wet winters.

My Final Opinion :

Lovely starters kit if you want a simple way to create a small fairy garden inside. I would expand it with other things like bridges, a fairy house, water well, etc. But that’s because maybe I want too much at once haha.

I wouldn’t buy this myself, because I have so much of these things available for free in the region where I live (moss etc), but of course, if you live in a city environment then this is perfect!

I’m not seeing any bad reviews, nor do I think anything negative could come from this shop.

My Final Opinion :

I think this could be one of the perfect fairy garden kits to start with or for advanced ‘gardeners’ if you are just looking for a small, but cute scenery indoors.

– silver coins ( memorabilia gifts )

– a nice thoughtful extra that you can buy is the ‘silver tooth fairy coin‘ :

The bad:

– it has 5 stars, but only 2 people have written a review so far, so I can’t really tell if anything negative would pop up

My Final Opinion :

It would be hard for me to make these myself as beautiful as on the pictures, so I really would consider buying one if I would find a nice tree stump.

 

Shop number 4: miniaturegardening.

– miniature plants, cottages, accessories, fairies and gnomes, and others

– It is ringed with pebbles and has a wooden look, as well as iron details.

– the roof is giving the illusion of grass

My Final Opinion :

Ok, I admit, this is not really a ‘kit’, but I really do think this is worth mentioning because I am absolutely stunned by this beauty! Can anyone give this to me for my birthday, please? Oh wait, I have to wait too long haha! But seriously, this craftsmanship looks fantastic, no?

Shop number 5: CreateItCraftsCo

Makes:

– This is more like a general crafting shop, selling all kinds of supplies. I found a small fairy garden kit though.

The good:

– very reasonable price for all the items that you receive

– you get what is described in the pictures

– fast shipping

The bad:

– not really a ‘bad’ point if you ask me when people tend to claim that the items are ‘too small’ or ‘not suited for a 5-year old’. I mean, this kind of kits are never suitable for such young children and of course they are ‘small’, that’s how they are supposed to be 😉

My Final Opinion :

As you get a lot of items for a very reasonable price, this would be great for someone who decides to give a fairy garden a try and see if she/he wants to go further with this hobby. It is only meant for a small part of the garden or in a flowerpot or something similar (look at some ideas here ). I just love the little butterflies though!

And then last, but surely not least :

– you can paint/adjust/decorate it completely to your own wishes

– I think it’s not expensive

The bad:

– the roof seems hard to put together

– no other bad reviews to be seen

My final opinion.

I can’t hide it, this shop is my absolute favorite. I love the fact that all of it is made in wood and the fairy doors and house kits look absolutely gorgeous. Even the price is very affordable, so I am going to order a fairy house soon, I just haven’t decided which one yet, because they are all so pretty. To be continued!

Final Conclusion.

If you are looking for fairy garden kits, then in my personal opinion, buying them on Etsy is the best place to be. Also, there is so much choice on there regarding fairy garden supplies in general, that you can spend hours on it, strolling around 😉
