Hi Karen! Thank you so very much for the compliment and I'm quite sure that you will enjoy this house as well, it is very good quality and fun! I did varnish the pieces, as in summer it is mostly outside. But I still took it inside when it was raining too heavily,didnt want to take a chance with such a piece of art haha! In the winter, I take my fairy houses indoors as well. Hubby says that he is going to make a pretty storage place for them soon ;-) You are welcome! Kind regards, Lizzy

This house is so cute! I am getting ready to assemble another model house from this wonderful etsy seller. I see that you painted some pieces and varnished others. Did you varnish the pieces you painted red, or just paint them? Thanks so much, Karen

Wow, I'm excited I will create my first fairy house soon because it appears to be simple to build after I get the necessary materials. I'm also relieved to see that those laser-cut items, as well as other materials, are reasonably priced and that Etsy is a fantastic store to buy them.

I can't wait to share this with my cousin. Her girls have been building a fairy garden and you have so many great ideas here. I love that you create pieces out of items that would have just been tossed in the trap. That's another great lesson for kids to learn. You've done a really great job and I loved looking at all your pictures of completed projects.

Oh my this fairy house is so cute!!! Great job at putting it together and for all your thorough step by step explanation! It can seem quite complicated for a DIY novice like me.
