A Miniature Victorian Dollhouse Kit – Easily Found On Etsy !

In a previous article, we talked about the Victorian architectural style and a little bit of history and a few miniature artists creating these kinds of dollhouses and miniatures. A miniature Victorian dollhouse kit can be easily found on Etsy, so today I am going to review about 5 of them.

Let’s start with the Victorian dollhouse kits, or would you rather buy a finished product? If that is the case, remind me to write another article about it soon, please!

To be honest, I have googled ‘Miniature Victorian Dollhouse kit’ before, but never have I seen such pretty ones then on Etsy, I was blown away and I am sure you will too!

Price : 247,00$

Overall Rank: on 994 sales.

The Good And The Bad :

The good:

– as the price on these kits is quite high, still getting 5 stars on 994 would mean that this is a good quality seller.

– I love that the doors are functioning.

– you can choose to leave it unpainted or painted, it would look beautiful in both ways.

– comes with a large bottle of wood glue.

– the decor frames are nicely detailed for a laser-cut kit.

– fast shipping

The bad:

– Doesn’t mention in the shop if the items are returnable or exchangeable?

– I have only seen one 4-star review and she doesn’t mention why she gave only 4 stars? So I wouldn’t worry about that.

My Final Opinion :

It is a pity that I’m not rich haha! I would definitely buy one or several of these miniature Victorian kits! I am amazed at the details as well.

revieuw kit 3

My Final Opinion :

This shop doesn’t seem to sell many miniature kits. I am not sure why, is it because they are not made from wood but from plastic? Honestly, this would not be my first choice either, but if you want to try a Victorian kit and see if you like it, then you could start with this cheaper one!

– easy to assemble.

– for lots of parts, you don’t need glue to assemble them.

– cheap starters kit!

The bad:

– not ‘bad’ per se, but note that it is shipped from Ireland, so that might take a while if you live in the US.

  1. Hi Lizzy,

Thanks so much for sharing a great article to read to know more about Miniature Victorian Dollhouses kits I could find on Etsy!

As I read a previous post on your website, I was wondering about building a Victorian Dollhouse for my grand daughter as a Christmas gift, and it seems like you read my mind.

I didn’t know I could get a kit from Etsy and it sounds like a great idea, and just in time to work on it and get it ready for the Holidays!

Think I will get the 3D Lasser Craft as the price is right and as my grand daughter is still young it will be a first test for her and for me as a builder!

  2. Hello Lizzy, it feels good to be here and a lot of articles that I have seen have got some other dollhouse but I really wasn’t satisfied with what I have been seeing so far. I plan on getting my daughter one for her 5th birthday and I really like the HartsDesireMinis a lot. I hope there are edges that could be harmful to children?

    • Hello Justin,

I really think that buying a Victorian dollhouse kit for your daughter who is only 5 years old, is not suitable. But maybe you can buy and build it for yourself so that when she gets a little bit older, she can admire it? Wich she will surely do, they are wonderful, aren’t they?

      happy crafting!

      Lizzy
